( Sizes: A4, A3, A2 · Archival Giclée Print · Worldwide Carbon-Neutral Delivery)
Captured in the thick scrub of Addo National Park, South Africa.
While observing a large breeding herd, I found my attention pulled toward a single young elephant completely lost in play. Resisting the urge to track the broader herd, I locked the frame on him and waited.
I didn't expect him to blindfold himself, but the moment he flung his trunk squarely over his face, he executed classic toddler logic: if I can’t see you, you can’t see me.
Selected from thousands of global entries as one of the final 40 images in the 2026 Nikon Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, this frame represents what happens when patience and natural comedy collide.
Every print is individually produced to museum standards via theprintspace (London):
Paper: Heavyweight Hahnemühle German Etching (310 gsm). A tactile, fine art paper that renders the rich skin textures and tonal depth of the African bush beautifully.
